1. The service

Echo provides conversations with fictional AI characters. Companions are artificial intelligence, not real people — and they will say so if asked. Echo is entertainment and companionship software; it is not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and is not a substitute for professional care or real-world relationships.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old. By creating an account you confirm this. We may suspend accounts that misrepresent age.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use Echo to create characters impersonating real people (living or deceased), to generate unlawful content, or to harass others. We may refuse content that violates these rules.

4. Subscriptions

Pro is billed monthly via Stripe and renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. Disclaimers

AI-generated responses may be inaccurate or inappropriate despite our safeguards. The service is provided "as is"; to the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim warranties and limit liability to fees paid in the last 12 months.

6. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in-app. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
